Influencia de algunos valores en residentes y tutores para trabajar sobre las determinantes de salud

Abstract

To achieve better levels of health in the population, it is necessary to act on the universe of social determinants of health, personal and collective; taking into account thatthey depend n plitical, economic, social, culture and environmental conditions existing, cnsequently, require prfessionals with solid values f humanism, respnsability, leadership, dedication, love of work and commitment to face it. With the aim of reflecting  the influece of some values on residents and tutors to work on health determinants, at the Andrés Ortiz polyclinic in the period from 2021 to 2023, an observational, descriptive, longitudinal cutting study was carried out. Documents on the subject were reviewed ad a questionaire was applied to the residents under study. For statistical processing, whole numbers were applied for frequencies of variables to express them as a percentage; to present in tables that facilitated analysis and discussion. It is concluded that in the current times that the country is experiencing, it is a challenger for the tutors and teachers of Primary Care to reinforce values such as responsibility, love of work, selflessness and leadership in the residents of the Family Medicine specialty, as these influence work with health determinants that affect the population.
