El contenido de la formación profesional integral como componente del proceso pedagógico

The interest in achieving the quality of the training of education professionals responds to the global demand that these professionals are prepared for the scientific attention to the various problems of the educational context, aspect to which great attention is paid in Cuba. The present article explains why the authors consider self-assessment a content of comprehensive professional training that is conceived as a component of the pedagogical process in the training of education professionals. This is achieved based on the analysis of the results of some theoretical references about comprehensive professional training obtained from the application of theoretical methods such as: the historical and logical, the analytical and synthetic, the inductive and deductive and the study of documents. In their analysis, the authors refer to the need that during comprehensive professional training the development of self-assessment be encouraged so that students self-direct their own personal and professional development.
