Abstract

The purpose of this writing is to briefly refer to aspects concerning the crisis in Ecuador in what
corresponds to matters of security, violence, state crisis, lumpenization referred to as decomposition of the social
fabric; At first, he articulates very brief stories issued by students from peri-urban areas of Guayaquil. This is
analyzed from concepts corresponding to Psychoanalysis and also from Political Economy.
The aspect of productive relations is considered as the axis on which elementary aspects are determined to
configure the culture of the country, as well as a limited analysis of consumerism and its location in the
coordinates of society in general; Associated with this, it specifies the impact of different film productions on
television series or virtual platforms; the accessibility to the consumption of products, but also of violence or
substances such as highly elaborated products by the market. This is also coupled with the need to consider it
from the death drive, the Thanatos, the self-destruction of the mode of production from its own gears with which
the crisis intends to survive in the face of a lumpenized capitalism with which it coexists.
