Análisis evolutivo del sistema de contratación pública en la República del Ecuador
Abstract
The purpose of this paper was to carry out an analysis of Ecuador's public procurement system, in relation to the
implementation of economic models that states use to make their management transparent and assert a
democratic exercise. Let us remember that, since the establishment of the so-called citizen revolution, the
Ecuadorian contracting system underwent a series of modifications, which for many is currently considered the
fundamental cause of the crisis it is going through due to the acts of corruption that have been seen in recent
decades. This is how the objective of this work was to demonstrate the characteristics of public procurement,
mediate the study of its rules to determine its strengths and weaknesses.
