Un constructo imprescindible en la proyección social de la Universidad: la vinculación con la sociedad

Abstract

This scientific article addresses one of the current problems inherent in the university dynamics, namely the construct of university extension, which predominantly means the social projection of the university to the community, and social context in which it is inserted. Held in historical and logical concept background, we consider relevant to focus the analysis of essences contained therein, which will allow us not only their epistemic value, but also its consistent application to the dynamics of Ecuadorian educational system, in order to mitigate the socio- educational discrimination against vulnerable groups such as children and adolescents living in poverty and marginalization of suburban neighborhoods.

The theoretical results presented can be generalized to other investigations same bias, with subsequent theoretical and methodological construction of those.
